Isms of 19th Century Art: A Three-Part Series

Betsy Solomon, MA

The 19th century is the era of "isms"  -- Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism.  Having cast aside the artistic conventions of the past, artists sought new forms of expression.  This three-part series will consider the artistic developments of the 19th century.
